Therapies Complementary to Medicine
Caroline has a keen interest in complementary therapies. She is currently the convenor of the APS Psychology and Complementary therapies interest group.
This interest group is concerned with developing and nurturing professional links between psychologists and professional practitioners and researchers working in the field of Complementary Medicine. The broad aim of the interest group is to advance the interests of the profession of psychology generally, and APS members in particular, by active and productive communication with members of the Complementary profession. The interest group recognised that therapies Complementary to Medicine are presently the most rapidly growing area of medicine both in Australia and globally and, like mainstream western medicine, has overlapping areas of interest and professional activity with psychologists. |
